Highlights include the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series’ NC Education Lottery 200, concerts with country star Jake Owen and alt-rockers Train, and Saturday night’s $1 million NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race with wildly popular drivers like Jeff Gordon, Matt Kenseth, Kyle Busch, and Dale Earnhardt, Jr., among many others.
The other big name at Charlotte Motor Speedway is, of course, Sahlen’s.
Buffalo’s beloved Sahlen’s Smokehouse Hot Dogs, Polish Sausage, and Italian Sausage continue to build a fan following in the Southeast, and these delicious Sahlen’s specialties will once again be available for race fans to enjoy at every Speedway event this summer.
“This is our third year at the Speedway with our vending trailer, and our second year in our permanent stand,” said Chris Cauley, vice president of Sahlen Vending Operations, LLC. “All items are grilled and dressed to order with a full complement of hot and cold toppings. There is nothing better than a Sahlen’s hot dog grilled to perfection — and many fans of the speedway are becoming Sahlen’s fans, as well.”
The permanent Sahlen’s concession stand is located behind Section J in the General Motors level of the Charlotte Motor Speedway.
Over 40 events are planned at the Charlotte Motor Speedway — including the Coca-Cola 600 on Sunday, May 25 and the Bank of America 500 on Saturday, Oct. 11 — through the end of 2014. Tickets and a full schedule are available online.
That’s over 40 opportunities to enjoy the finest products that Sahlen’s, a family company since 1869, has to offer — hot, delicious, mouth-watering hot dogs and sausage unlike any other south of the Mason-Dixon Line.
“We are thrilled to be part of the Speedway team,” Cauley said, “and enjoy every minute of treating the fans to the best hot dog they will ever have!”
